Coronavirus (COVID-19) and The Landis Theater

The management of The Landis Theater in Vineland, New Jersey has made the decision to postpone all shows and gatherings of any sort on theater property amidst the current State of Emergency recently declared by the Governor with concerns over the spread of the Coronavirus. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our guests and patrons.

We believe it is best for our patrons and our staff if we postpone, and reschedule when possible, all events for at least the next month. If health concerns are still a factor after a month we will reevaluate and release another statement.

Allowing gatherings in larger venues like ours that seat people in close proximity to each other doesn’t seem like the best idea in light of the current global health crisis.

We’ll still be operating daily in our efforts to continue to upgrade the theater and refurbish the restaurant and banquet hall areas of the property. We are still selling tickets for future events as well as for our Summer Day Camp. If a health risk still persists after 90 days, we will look into refunding and rescheduling those events as well.

We will continue to monitor and follow our federal, state, and local authorities’ recommendations in regard to where we stand with this virus.
